Sunset in Alaska
This artwork was inspired by a still image captured by Joshua Yancosek of YouTube channel, Deadmen. It portrays a stunning sunset view of the lake from his secluded Alaskan property.
Winter woodland
This artwork was created as a commissioned piece, with the client requesting a serene winter landscape featuring snow-covered terrain, sunlight filtering through the trees, and a winding lake inhabited by deer. It is currently part of a private collection in Australia.
The last farewell (Sycamore Gap)
This painting was purchased by a private collector whilst on display at an exhibition at Hidcote Manor. It was created as a memorial piece for the Sycamore Gap after it was felled illegally. Robin Hood stands by his beloved tree at sunset as a final farewell and a nod to the 1992 film 'Robin Hood - prince of thieves'.
Dreaming of Alaska
This artwork marks my first attempt at painting mountains. Created early in my career, it was acquired by a collector and is now located in Australia.
The gardens at Hidcote
This painting was created after a visit to Hidcote Manor and Gardens. I found the grounds beautiful and was honoured to sell the piece during an exhibition at the manor.
The View from Hidcote
This painting is an early piece; I based it on a photo my Mother took from a trip to the Manor.
Fireflies by night
I created this piece as a tribute to my childhood love of fairies and all things ethereal. I love trees that twist and curve, so I had a lot of fun creating this scene.
Blossoms
I created this scene a few years ago; blossoms are some of my favourite flowers and I enjoyed creating the bokeh background.
Hunters of the deep
As an experiment in creating new styles of painting, I painted this scene of two orcas ~ my favourite sea creatures ~ and found a lot of joy in painting the silent, endless ocean.
The Giant's Dance
This painting was created after a trip to Stone Henge, or, in Arthurian legends, the Giant's Dance. The stones are rooted in legends and myths; I was amazed by how vast Salisbury Plain was and, surprisingly, how many crows there were. I tried to include these details in the piece and was pleased with the result.
Busy as a bee
This painting is one of my earliest works; I sold it at my first exhibition. The image came from a photo my Mother took; I had a lot of fun painting the wings.
A dream come true
This painting was made and gifted to Mick Whipple (YouTube channel: Betting on Alaska) It is of his beautiful mountain view as well as the bison farm bordering his property. I had a lot of fun painting the bison as it was my first time painting these unique creatures.
