A dream come true

A dream come true

This painting was created and gifted to Mick Whipple (Betting On Alaska).

I created this painting of the bison farm adjacent to Mick’s property as a gift for him and really enjoyed painting his beautiful mountain view. The piece was made as a congrats to him for everything that he has achieved on his homestead.

I also enjoyed painting the bison farm, as it was my first time painting these unique animals.

Blossoms

Blossoms

This artwork features a branch of cherry blossoms set against a bokeh background.

The delicate flowers stand out sharply against the soft blur, creating a striking contrast.

I was inspired to create this piece as a tribute to one of my favorite flowers.

Dreaming of Alaska

Dreaming of Alaska

This painting depicts a misty mountain scene in Alaska. A line of trees borders the scene whilst a river meanders through the foreground, disappearing into the distance.

This painting is an early piece and was both my first mountain scene and my first time painting Alaska.

Fireflies by night

Fireflies by night

This artwork captures a whimsical forest scene under the cover of night.

A narrow cobblestone path meanders through the enchanting woodland, illuminated by the soft glow of fireflies. The trees twist gracefully, radiating light, while delicate flowers emerge from the lush carpet of leaves.

Scattered among the foliage, small lanterns add to the magical ambiance, enhancing the dreamlike quality of the setting.

Sunset in Alaska

Sunset in Alaska

This artwork was inspired by a still from a video created by Josh (@Deadmen).

The painting is of a lake near his Alaskan property; after seeing some of his incredible photography I instantly felt inspired to paint the footage.

This piece was eventually purchased by Josh, which was a lovely surprise. I particularly enjoyed creating the silhouettes of the trees, as well as the striking contrast between the darkened land and the illuminated lake that lies in between.

The gardens at Hidcote

The gardens at Hidcote

This artwork captures a glimpse of the stunning gardens at Hidcote Manor and Gardens (managed by the National Trust).

Inspired by a family visit to the estate, I found great joy in portraying the vibrant natural beauty surrounding me.

I was also delighted to have sold this piece during an exhibition held at the manor.

The last farewell {Sycamore gap}

The last farewell {Sycamore Gap}

This artwork captures the sun setting over Sycamore Gap, with Robin Hood standing beside the iconic tree, symbolizing the end of its existence.

I created this piece as a heartfelt tribute to the Sycamore Gap, which was illegally cut down in 2023.

The inclusion of Robin Hood pays homage to one of my favourite films, 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' (1991), where the tree featured prominently in a significant scene.

The view from Hidcote

The view at Hidcote

This painting is one of my earliest works, inspired by a visit to Hidcote Manor and Gardens (managed by the National Trust).

I utilized a photograph taken by my mother as a reference, capturing the view of the gardens from within the manor.

Winter woodland

Winter woodland

This painting captures a serene winter woodland scene, where a thick layer of snow blankets the ground of the English landscape.

A solitary deer stands elegantly beside a frozen stream, while sunlight filters through the bare branches, casting a shimmering light across the tranquil setting.
